About DMuly

I’m Danny Mulyono, better known as DMuly — a Sydney-based mural artist and live artist creating large-scale artwork for schools, businesses, homes, community spaces and events.

My work is about transforming spaces through art. Every mural is designed specifically for the people, story and environment it belongs to — whether that means creating something bold and energetic, celebrating culture and identity, bringing a school community together, or turning a blank wall into something people remember.

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of projects, from large-scale school and commercial murals to detailed residential pieces and artwork inspired by faith, culture and community.

A significant part of my work has been within schools, including both Catholic and public education settings. I enjoy creating murals that do more than decorate a wall — artwork can communicate a school’s values, history and identity while creating an environment students and staff feel connected to.

Faith and cultural storytelling also play an important role in my practice. I’ve created works incorporating religious figures, symbolism and meaningful imagery for homes, schools, churches and communities, approaching each project with respect for the story behind it.

Alongside murals, I also work as a live artist, creating artwork in front of audiences at events, fundraisers and activations. Live painting brings another dimension to the work — allowing people to experience the artwork taking shape and become part of the moment.

No two projects are the same. I work closely with each client to understand the space, the story and what they want the finished artwork to achieve, then develop a concept specifically for that environment.

From the first idea through to the final painted detail, my goal is simple:

Create artwork that belongs in the space — and leaves an impression long after it’s finished.
